When certain intensive cases require Board Certified specialists’ intervention, Yorkville Animal Hospital is affiliated with many qualified Opthamologists, Dermatologists and Internal Medicine Doctors for Referral purposes.
Yorkville Animal Hospital offers Ultrasonography services by a Board Certified Veterinarian. All Ultrasound and Echocardiograms result in written reports and interpretations provided by the Board Certified Veterinarian performing the service.
Yorkville Animal Hospital offers a complete boarding facility. Unlike traditional Boarding Kennels, our boarding pets are monitored by Veterinary technicians who work closely with the Hospital’s Doctors to ensure each animal’s well-being during their stay with us.
Pets are kept on a minimal “Twilight” sedation for routine tartar scaling and polishing. As a result most pets are awake and ready for discharge within hours of their Dentistry with no post anesthetic sluggishness found with deeper Anesthetic techniques.
Surgical procedures include, but are not limited, to canine and feline Ovariohysterectomies, Neuters, Dental extractions, and multiple soft tissue surgeries such as Tumor removals and wound repairs.
Intensive Care: Yorkville offers 24-hour intensive care services with complete medical monitoring on an individual case basis. Emergencies: We accept all Animal medical emergencies during office hours. After office hours, our continuous phone coverage enables us to direct your case to an Emergency facility on an as needed basis.
